Some friends of mine are in Africa for a few weeks. They're blogging about their trip, and they're doing an excellent job of documenting what they've seen. They are a group from our Integrated Marketing Communications center here at Wycliffe, and the purpose of their trip is to gather stories of what's going on in Africa with Bible translation.

Here at Wycliffe, we're about to launch a new center that will enable us to get live updates from the field via satellite video phone conferencing (CNN-style). Its been a major issue within Wycliffe...stories from the field get lost because there hasn't been good ways of getting it to the masses. We're all excited about the new possibilites of learning about the people that are on the front-lines of Bible translation, and about the new opportunities to support them in their work.
