oh You Know...

Well the summer movie season is pretty much over and boy did it stink. There were a few standouts like Cars and Monster House in 3D, But most of the ones I was excited about seeing just weren't that good or were plain awful (X-men 3 for example) I have yet to see A Scanner Darkly and a Prarie Home Companion, but I will just probably have to wait for dvd. Fortunately the Fall Movie Season, which is when the Oscar contender Movies are released, is fast approaching. Some of the films I am excited about are The Prestige (reteaming Batman Begins director and actors) in a thriller about turn of the century magicians. Also coming out is the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale, starring the controversial blond haired, blue eyed Daniel Craig. I think it will be pretty good, It's kind of a prequel to the series and harkens back to Ian Fleming's first Bond novel. Also coming out is The Science of Sleep directed by Michael Gondry, the same genius who did Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Also coming out is the latest movie from your favorite mockumentary film maker and mine, Christopher Guest. His latest movie, For Your Consideration, is about a an indie film cast that is surprisingly generating Oscar buzz.

Also, other things to be excited about this fall is the return of Lost on Oct. 4th. I for one can't wait.

I stumbled upon your site and see that you guys are new to central Florida? I've been down here for over 8 years now and love it! I used to live in Pennsylvania.

Anyway, cool Blog, hope you guys continue to enjoy Sunny, Beautiful central Florida! I do love being close to the attractions, places that people only get to see on vacations, I get to go to whenever I want to! I love "Down Town Disney!" I'll have to "Blog" about that sometime.

Dude...what about "Snakes On A Plane!" you're totally forgetting about what will be the only movie this summer to take a bite outa your butt.

You also left out the fact that "The Amazing Race" starts this fall. Hello Andrew.

Aren't you going to miss Razorback football as well. 1.5 weeks until kickoff.

Miss you guys.
