10 Years ago:
I was 15 and in the 10th grade. Wow. I had just finished my most emotional year in school. Towards the end of 9th grade, right before I turned 15, my best friend at the time was going through some pretty difficult family stuff...and ended up trying to commit suicide. Twice. Needless to say, that shook me up a little, and even though she survived 9th grade and is now married and has a wonderful family, we aren’t really friends any more. I guess we both spent 10th grade recovering from that whole ordeal!

5 years ago:
I was a Junior at the UofA, living with 6 other women in the UBC Discipleship House. We were planning our “Haloween” costume party. That year was a very independent year for me.

1 year ago:
We were planning a camping/caving trip with Mark & Amity, JLo & Cindy, Eric & Polly, and Chris & Katie. What a fun trip that was! One year later: Mark & Amity are getting married next weekend. JLo & Cindy just got engaged. And Eric & Polly had a beautiful wedding in July.

Yesterday:
I had a very productive day at work! Yeah! I made Chicken Alfredo for dinner and Andrew and I watched The Biggest Loser and Amazing Race.

5 snacks I enjoy:
-Smarties
-Peanut butter M&M’s (weird thing is that I typically hate anything peanut-buttery)
-Fresh pineapple
-grilled cheese sandwiches & tomato soup
-ice cream

-“Don’t Take The Girl” Tim McGraw
-“Fresh Prince” theme song
-“Love is a Verb” DC Talk (i used to know it all...it might be a little sketchy now)
-My ABC’s :) “Next time won’t you sing with me?”

5 things I'd do with 1 million dollars:
-give
-pay off debt & invest for the future
-pay for Andrew pursue his dream
-buy a house
-travel

I’m changing this question to “5 places I want to visit”:
-France (again). I want to go to Normandy, and Provence, and to take Andrew back to Orléans.
-Thailand. To see Julia.
-Alaska. I think it would be so fun to do an Alaskan Cruise!
-California. I’ve never been!
-Niagra Falls

-I have to agree with Shauna...no clothes with Disney characters
-spandex pants
-black and navy blue...together
-chunky platform shoes
-jeans and a jean jacket...together

-Anything except Rachael Ray on the Food Network (can’t stand her!)

-Alias (i’ve only watched through Season 3...waiting for 4 to come out on DVD)
