Retreat!!

Well Virg and I got back from our Life Group retreat monday night, and I must say it was a complete blast. We arrived in Ellijay, Ga on thursday night after stopping in Atlanta to introduce our friends to The Varsity as well as get to hang out with Stephen, Kristine, and Adler Hunton. It was great to see them. I'll try and give a detailed account of the weekend soon. But one of the highlights was the Corn Maze.

We went to this corn maze around 9 p.m. and had a blast. The 13 of us were divided into 3 teams. There were 12 checkpoints in the two mazes. At each checkpoint was a unique hole punch that corresponded with the checkpoint. Our team was done first, but it was very disorienting. The stalks were at least 3-4 taller than we were so it felt like the maze scene from Harry potter and the Goblet of fire. There were more than 4 miles of pathways.

Two of the teams got done in around 1 1/2 hours while the third took another hour at least. We would get bored waiting for them so we'd run back in, find them, and then scare the crap out of them by grabbing there ankles and yelling. It was awesome. I highly recommend doing a corn maze at night if you ever get the chance. The theme of the maze we did was Pirates.

Wow, that looks pretty cool. How the heck did they spell Pirates in the maze from the ground?

I love you Drewski! You're so funny! I think it's so funny you went back in and scared people. Hehe. Miss you!

Jason, The plant the whole crop, then when it gets a few feet high, a guy uses a lawn mower with GPS to mow the path. Crazy huh?

Sounds like a lot of planting involved. I bet that is how some of the guys in Iraq painted the big hog on the roof of their aircraft hanger...GPS. Never thought of that.
