I won't eat at Taste of Thai

This is a sad day. Yesterday I found out some disturbing information about my favorite restaurant, Taste of Thai, in Fayetteville. And...today I verified it online. Its True...read for yourself:

"Taste of Thai 31 Center St., Fayetteville Critical violations include: Keep door closed; evidence of roaches, living/moving roaches — both small and large; rodent evidence (droppings) in back stock area on floor and tables; don’t use dented cans; do not store cutting board on floor; rodent droppings on towel in cooler; clean preparation surfaces and sanitize before food prep; no hand washing observed; keep outside cooler closed; repair screen door; raw shellfish being prepared next to prepared lettuce; roach found crawling in take-out bags; rodent droppings in with take-out lids and clean plate storage area; do not drink while prepping silverware.

Non-critical violations include: Keep handles upright in bulk storage area; clean refrigerator and freezer inside and outside; lights must be shielded and have caps on all shields; mold growing above sink."

This is an excerpt from Restaurant Inspection Results published in the Northwest Arkansas Times on Monday, June 20. There were other restaurants reviewed...but this one was by far the worst one.

The really unsettling thing is that we ate dinner there on Wednesday night...and I found out about all this on Thursday. Needless to say, I'll be finding a new favorite restaurant.
