Eulogy of Eulogies

This was an obituary published in today's edition of the Northwest Arkansas Times (I've edited names to protect identities...but you can grab the paper and see for yourself if you're that curious...the names aren't the point.)

"The peace and quiet of the "afterlife" of John Doe ended today, as he was rejoined with his wife of over 50 years, Jane Doe. Jane, born Dec. 29, 1919, passed away quietly in her sleep Monday, May 23, 2005, at her home in Someplace, AR."

There's just something not quite right...peace and quiet...ended...now that his wife is with him??????
